Our GI had mentioned Reglan last week but I thought that Kids with DGE felt full all of the time? Connor always seems hungry and eats well. The only symptom that would maybe suggest DGE would be that he spits up throughout the day.

DGE is where the food lingers and empties slowly out of the stomach.

Yes, kids with DGE have less of an appetite because there tummy doesn't empty fast so they don't get as hungry or as often. But, if they have reflux too they may still eat alot, like our son, because he was comfort feeding. Reglan will move the food through faster so he will be hungrier and get more nutrients and be more comfortable.

Evan was the same, a non-eater b/c his stomach was always full, and a huge forceful puker. Once he was medicated for GERD and for DGE, things started to improve.
