and allergies or intolerances. If you go to www.beechnut.com (http://www.beechnut.com) they have a table with all of their foods listed and whether or not they contain milk, soy, gluten, etc. It is really awsome. This way you don't have to guess. I know it is hard to find in a lot of stores. Save-a-lots carry it and some IGA's depending on your location. I also think that some Wal-marts my have it too, although ours does not. Just thought I would pass this on.

Thanks Melissa, that is awesome!
I can only find it in Save a lots.
I wonder if I wrote to walmart and requested it if I would get any response??

I would just talk to the manager directly about carrying it. It is up to the managers to decide what to stock for their paticular store/area. When Abby was still off of milk and drinking soy, there was a particular brand, Silk, in very vanilla that was fortified especially for kids and tasted wonderful. I could only get it at a Wal-mart 45 mins away where my parents live. I just went up to the manager at our local store and asked them to stock it and they did. Hope you can get it there. Our save-a-lot just has a small selection, but our IGA has everything they have, even the toddler foods. I think I will be sticking to Beechnut when it comes to Emily.

One grocery store in town carries Beechnut baby food, but they do not carry rice cereal, which I use in Noah's bottles. So, I have to drive to the next town over to a Sav-a-Lot to buy it. Its worth it, though. Beechnut.com sent me like a lifetime supply of $1.00 off coupons after I just inquired about something, and their cereal is 99 cents. I have to pay for one box, and the rest of the case is free! I know, JACKPOT!

Thanks that website is great! Beechnut is hard to find here also. Our Walmart does carry it but they also don't carry the rice cereal I have to go to Fry's for that.
That's my favorite brand of baby food (ranked right up there with Organic Baby). Our Shop Rite and A&P stores carry the brand, but nobody else does. We don't have Wal Mart here, but my mom does, so she sends me their stuff now and then.
FYI--I'm a total dope. I really detest Gerber, but had no other choice here (no other brands available at the local store near where we're staying) and grabbed a box of their oatmeal cereal. Didn't even THINK to look at the label--the second ingredient is soy. No wonder my kidlet is backed up worse than rush hour traffic...

I LOVE beechnut and use that primarily w/zac. We have it most everywhere here. Publix and Winn Dixie are our major supermarkets here.
