About an hour after Alexys ate yesterday, she got this rash on her face, and as the day went on her cheeks got redder and drier. She has had all of the things she ate though before...spaghetti, meatballs, macaroni noodles, carrots, and cabbage. It doesnt look like the hives she gets from milk, but I dont know what it is. Does it look like a reaction to food?

Noah's cheeks get red like that within an hour after eating food. Then, he gets these little red "pimple" things on his face sometime between then and the next day. Noah's right cheek is always the reddest and the tip of his nose gets like that, also. His doctor thinks the reddness is eczema and he has not idea about the red dots.

It looks like eczema. Try putting Eucerin or Lubriderm on her face for a few days to see if it helps. This is what do for Cady and it takes the dryness down a little. Hers is allergy-induced, though. She got ahold of something with milk in it at my Mom's and her cheeks do exactly that.

it has to be an allergy, it goes away and then comes back after she eats again. Now she is wheezy and has diarrhea, but shes not sick. She gets the same way from milk. Now how am i supposed to figure out what it is when she eats everything????
