Lauren had ham, scalloped potatoes and corn last night for dinner. As she's cramming (she loved it?) the corn in her mouth, I'm second guessing whether or not she's allowed to have it.
Anyone know? I've never read where they can't. I just don't want it to back her up, KWIM?

Sandy, corn is fine, i've been giving zac corn for MONTHS! I "think" some have allergies to it but very few...i may be wrong...but "by the books" corn is fine.

Sandy..Check out the foods to avoid with reflux on this site...I believe someone else posted this months ago, and it was a veggie your were not suppose to give...Check it out and correct me if I am wrong.
I give corn to Andrew...he loves it as well, the only problem is they don't digest it, so you will be seeing it again shortly in her Poo!!!

Many infant formulas have corn sweetners so our little ones have been exposed all along. Corn is fine. I am glad she liked it!

Here is a link. We don't do corn now. Corn is a food that takes a long time to digest. So if the kids are having a reaction to it then they will reflux a lot longer on it also. Parker refluxed for 2 days each time we gave it too him.
That said a lot of kids are OK with it so if it hasn't caused any problems go with it.
