Our story - infant reflux - will be in the May issue of BaystateParent here in MA I would love to have lots of names of kids that have had fundo's. I am not even sure where I am going with this. Only that reflux is not taken seriously enough, maybe if more realized how often the fundo is done and how many are not even helped with the fundo?

If the child was diagnosed earlier, would it not get to the point of a fundo? Or are just some kids worse anyway?

I have not been interviewed for the May issue yet, so if anyone has any suggestion on what I should be saying, please let me know. They will be contacting me sometime in March.

my e-mail is

Thanks

PS can someone make this message stay on top until everyone has had a chance to see it?

I can help too---Chelsea has had two and she is still refluxing.

I have often wondered if she would have ever needed a fundo if she had received prompt treatment as an infant---but I do know that some kids are just worse than others regardless of what is done. Since reflux effects kids even in the same family in different ways, and because fudnos are done for different reasons I would suspect you would get many different opinions and answers on that question!

Let me know how I can help!!
