He has gone a while without a really BAD "attack" of retching & gagging. Last night he had one that was so intense and he couldn't catch his breath. I though at one moment we would have to call an abulance because I actually watched the child turn pale blue right before my very eyes !!! Scared the c*&p out of me and Breeze (my older dd) she even commented that he hasn't had one like that in a long time. He had tears rolling down his face, it was just awful :( He said his chest hurt worse then it ever had. (sigh) He's better today though, he said his throat hurt too much to eat breakfast but he still was smiling and went to school so I don't anything too major happened.

Oh Katy!!!!!!!!!!!! How can he be refluxing so badly and still retch?! Do you know what I mean??? The fundo is supposed to stop the refluxing. It clearly isn't stopping it in him. So he still refluxes...how can the wrap still be tight enough so that he still retches???? And on all that Nortriptyline?! It makes me nuts.:hategerd:

I am kind of laughing at that smiley...as everyone can see it is my new favorite! I really love these smileys, they just depict my exact feeling!

I hope Dr. Amendt can do something to help him Katy. I feel so horrible for him and for you! BIG HUGS!!!!!:grouphug: :hug:

Oh Katy, that sounds just awful! What a panick I bet you were in!!! I am glad he feels better today, but what are you supposed to do in those instances???

I'm not sure there is much anyone can do for him when that happens. I just hope it never happens like that again. The little ones don't scare me but, this one was scary. He is much better today just saying he's sore.

Katy, I am sending many hugs your way. Noah and you have been in my thoughts and prayers daily. When you get a chance give me a call. I really do hope that this was a fluke incidnet and doesnt happen again.

I do remember those episodes with Brandon because he would have problems like that after his fundo and would always turn blue until he cleared. I do hope that you have an uneventful weekend.
