Just wondering if anyone knows if it's ok to give Zac skim milk just for tomorrow instead of whole milk. DH forgot to pick it up so we only have our skim here. I think Cady drinks skim so I don't think there's an issue but I wanted to run it by you all incase there is something I'm not thinking of.
TIA

Yeah it should be O.K. The reason they say it should be whole is because babies need the fat of the whole milk. So for a on eoff now and again should be all right.

That's what I figured, but wanted to make sure. ;) Thanks

It's fine. My son was only on skim milk when we took him off formula. He's had skim his whole life.

It's fine, Sara. It's no biggie about one day, so go ahead. Cady's actually on 2% and hates skim and whole, but my older DD Kaylin hated whole and 2%, so was on skim at 14 months old.

It should be fine. I ran into that prob when Noah was doing to 2% mixture, and I used skim for a few bottles, and it didn't make any difference.

Sara.. you and I must be on the same page with this milk thing. I just gave Lauren some skim the other day, b/c we didn't have any whole of 2%. Thanks for asking, and thanks to those for answering.

How does Zac like the skim milk, Sara? Will he drink it or is it a total yuck for him compared to the fattier milk?
